TCTSY-F, RYT 500

Hi, my name is Amy Lewis. I’m so glad you are here. I’d like to introduce myself and hope to connect with you soon.

I facilitate Trauma Sensitive Yoga Sessions (Individual, Family, and Small Groups), & I partner with organizations and communities as a Consultant and Facilitator.

As a certified TCTSY-F and RYT 500, I participate in a Peer Reflection Group with The Center for Trauma and Embodiment at JRI, regular TCTSY Education Seminars, and maintain the requirements for ongoing good standing, including a commitment to The Ways of Being/Ethical Guidelines.

A central part of my personal and professional growth, which greatly informs my work as a consultant, continues to be the development of my personal and collective anti-racism embodiment practices. I am actively involved in experiential un-learning with The Rooted Global Village, and an active member of two weekly anti-racism embodiment practice groups inspired by Resmaa Menakem’s Somatic Abolitionism.

The core components of TCTSY - non-coercion, invitational language, choice-making, shared authentic experience, and the present moment experience - are what guide me as a facilitator and consultant.

I love being creative and noticing art all around me, taking walks, listening to moving stories through movies, songs, books, and ordinary people, my family, friends, and community, meditation, and my super cute and kind dog. I’m also honored to be a working member of the Better Together Advisory Board, City of Decatur, GA.

It would be great to hear from you. Feel free to email me at the address below to start a conversation!
